GSEB SSC HSC Board Exam: How to prepare to be a topper in standard 10 and 12 board exams?

During the Coronation period, students lost the practice of writing due to online learning, due to which they are reluctant to take the offline exam.

Students fear that they will not be able to complete the paper within the stipulated time frame.

Board exams in Gujarat are to be held on March 28, at a time when students are also experiencing some confusion. Here are some tips to help you prepare for the exam by talking to some education experts.

In 12 schools of Ahmedabad, Std. Speaking to BBC, Meenakshi Joshi, who works as a counselor for 10th and 12th class students, said:

"So the schools enlisted the help of experts. We tried to cultivate their interest in learning through games and different activities. Doing so also increases concentration."

Meenakshibahen says that these students are now grappling with a new problem and coming to them for counseling. Students fear that they will not be able to take the exam offline as they have skipped the practice of writing.

By forming separate groups of such students, they solve their own paper and evaluate it. Marcus shows the parents who have come and they too take the exam again.

Explaining the reasoning behind this, Meenakshibahen says, "Doing so will make parents angry if low marks come. Students' phobia has gone away. Than stop. "

In addition to solving the paper, there are some things that can be taken into consideration to relieve the stress of the students and increase their confidence.

Educationist Muktak Kapadia told the BBC that students should get enough sleep to overcome the fear of exams.

"Apart from this one should listen to music for a limited time or do any other favorite activity to relieve stress. There are three mantras of success in exams. Confidence, concentration and strong morale."

Kapadia says that the optional questions of 24 marks help the average student to pass, while the gifted student helps to get more marks.

"Confusion or problem that arises in the solved questions, taking guidance from the teacher together will increase confidence. They also suggest solving the paper by writing, as doing so will help you to remember more quickly and speed up.

Kapadia adds, "Write whatever is in the text-book because there are no cuts in the syllabus this time."

It also suggests how many marks are in question and how much time should be allotted for it and write the details according to the mark. Practice as much as possible for a period of one month.

Std. Mahima Patel, who scored 93 per cent marks in the 12th board exam, told the BBC: "We are looking at the objective paper to score higher marks in Std. 10 and 12 exams than time management of subjective and objective questions.

"Apart from this, whatever you know should be written down first, so that nothing is missed. You should not wake up before the exam and writing more and more papers during the last one month helps in good practice and success."
